Malnutrition is very common among cancer patients, and associated with an increase in morbidity mortality. The highest prevalence of patients nutritional deficits seen those tumors the gastrointestinal tract (GEI). However severity malnutrition not assessed systemically Algerian GEI patients. This why implementation strategies to detect early at all stages disease essential take measures avoid their fatal consequences improve quality life aim this work try find out which test be used systematically a risk cancer. prospective study carried medical oncology department military hospital Oran between September 1, 2022 March 2023. diagnosed were prospectively included, Nutritional screening was performed using clinical parameters [BMI (body mass index), weight loss], scores [MNA (Mini Assessment), NRI (Nutritional Risk Index), NRS Screenings), MST (Malnutrition Screening Tool), PG-SGA (patient-generated subjective global assessment)] albumin dosage.
